About

Amanda Calatrava is an assistant professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) whose research interests are focused on Cloud Computing, Serverless Computing, AI, and Scientific Computing. She received the BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in computer science from the UPV in 2010, 2012 and 2016, respectively. In 2011, she joined the GRyCAP research group as a graduate under a collaboration fellowship while she worked on her Master's Thesis. She obtained her Master's Degree in February 2012, specialising in grid and cloud computing. In November 2016, she received her PhD degree (with cum laude mention). Since then, she has been working on different national and international research projects, like ATMOSPHERE, EOSC-Synergy and AI4EOSC, under a postdoctoral fellowship. She is the (co-)author of several research articles published in indexed journals and international conferences. Currently, her research interests are focused in Cloud Computing, Serverless Computing and Scientific Computing.

Affiliations

I'm a Teaching Assistant (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), DSIC department. My research is done in the Grid and High Performance Computing Group (GRyCAP), in the Institute of Instrumentation for Molecular Imaging (I3M) at the Valencia Polytechnic City of Innovation (CPI), UPV.
