Amanda Calatrava received the B.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in computer science from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2010 and 2016. In 2011, she joined the Grid and High Performance Computing research group as a grad- uate under a collaboration fellowship while she worked on her Master’s Thesis. She obtained her Master’s Degree in February 2012, in which she specialized in grid and cloud computing. In November 2016, she obtained the Ph.D degree whose work was focused in the field of virtual elastic clusters over hybrid infrastructures. The main result of the Ph.D was the Elastic Cloud Computing Clusters tool (EC3). Currently, her research interests are focused in Virtualization, Cloud Computing and Scientific Computing.
Amanda is a Researcher in the Grid and High Performance Computing Group (GRyCAP), in the Institute of Instrumentation for Molecular Imaging (I3M) at the Valencia Polytechnic City of Innovation (CPI), UPV.
